Delivery Time Frames
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of being placed. Orders received after business hours, on weekends, or during holidays will be processed on the next business day. Most orders are delivered within 2 weeks from the date of purchase.
Order Tracking
Scheduling Your Delivery
Our delivery partners will handle the shipping of your order. They will contact you using the details provided at checkout to arrange a delivery appointment. To ensure a smooth process, please respond promptly to schedule a convenient delivery time. If a delivery attempt is missed, the delivery partner will reach out to reschedule. However, multiple failed attempts may result in additional charges or the return of your order to our warehouse.
Address Verification
To avoid delays, please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout. If you need to update it after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible. If an order has already been dispatched, we will do our best to intercept and redirect it, though we cannot guarantee success.
Delivery Signature Requirements
A signature is required upon delivery to ensure safe receipt of your order. If you prefer to receive your order without a signature, please let us know in advance. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages if this option is chosen.
Shipping Costs
We are pleased to offer free standard shipping on all orders over 99 € within mainland France. Orders below this amount are subject to standard shipping fees. For deliveries to Corsica or other remote areas, please reach out to request a shipping quote.
For added convenience, we also provide optional services such as carrying items upstairs or two-person handling for an additional charge. If you require these services, feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist.
International Shipping
Currently, we only ship within France. If you’re looking to purchase our products internationally, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to help. For orders in Germany and the Netherlands, please visit our dedicated websites at sorara.de and sorara.nl.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If a package is delayed or lost, please contact us within 2 days of the expected delivery date. If your order arrives damaged, you must refuse the package or report the issue within 48 hours after delivery.

If your item doesn’t fit your space or if you simply change your mind, you can return it hassle-free. Our return process is designed to be simple, allowing you to return items whether you bought them online or in one of our stores.
Return Eligibility
We offer a generous 180-day return policy for all our pergolas and pergola accessories. For all other products, including furniture, parasols, storage boxes, and decorative items, the return policy is 30 days.
To qualify for a full refund, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it—new, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. If a returned product is damaged or used in a way that significantly reduces its value, we reserve the right to reduce or refuse reimbursement.
A receipt or order number is required to process returns.
Different terms may apply to bulk or corporate purchases, as agreed upon at the time of purchase.
How to Make a Return
The quickest and easiest way to return your item is at a Sorara store. Whether purchased online or in-store, you can return it to any Sorara location within the same country of purchase. In-store returns are refunded instantly.
If you cannot return the item to a store, you can request a paid return pick-up. The cost of return shipping will be based on delivery service rates and will be your responsibility. To initiate a return with pick-up, contact Sorara Customer Service at contact@sorara.fr. A pick-up appointment will be scheduled with our logistics partner and they will pick up the item/s at your home.
Refund Process
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. The full purchase price will be refunded, but return-related costs, including any non-refundable shipping fees for pick-up services, are your responsibility.
Refunds will be issued as soon as possible and no later than 14 days from the date we receive your return request notification. However, we may withhold the refund until the returned item has been received or until proof of return has been provided, whichever comes first. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund. If more than 20 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us.
Exchanges
We offer like-for-like exchanges, such as a different size or color, for new, unused products in their original packaging. Exchanges can be processed in-store or through customer service with proof of purchase. If your desired item is unavailable, you can choose between a full refund or store credit. However, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item first and place a new order separately.
Order Cancellation Before Receipt
If you wish to cancel your order before receiving it, you must contact Sorara Customer Service with your order number to arrange the cancellation. If you have not yet accepted delivery, you will not be charged additional return costs.
Dispute Resolution & Customer Rights
In the event of a dispute, you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform, provided by the European Commission, to resolve issues arising from online purchases.

1. Legal Warranties
All products sold are covered by:
- The legal warranty of conformity (garantie légale de conformité, Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code), which applies for two years from delivery. If a product is defective or does not conform to its description, consumers are entitled to a repair or replacement (or a refund if repair/replacement is impossible).
- The warranty against hidden defects (garantie des vices cachés, Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), which applies if a hidden defect makes the product unusable or significantly reduces its use. This warranty is valid for two years from the discovery of the defect.

2. Commercial Warranties
Some products may come with an additional commercial warranty, which will be specified in the product description. This warranty does not replace the legal warranties but may provide extended coverage.

We do not stock spare parts for our products. However, if you require a specific part, we will do our best to source it from the manufacturer.
We cannot guarantee the availability of spare parts or delivery times, as this depends on the manufacturer’s stock and production capabilities.
3.2 Requesting Spare Parts
If you need a spare part, please contact us at contact@sorara.fr with your order number, product details, and the part you require. We will inform you whether we can source it and under what conditions. If spare parts are available, they may be subject to additional charges. The price of spare parts depends on the manufacturer and will be communicated upon request.
3.3 Repairs & Replacement of Parts
- If a component of your product is damaged or needs replacement, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in obtaining the necessary parts from the manufacturer.
- If a repair is needed, we will guide you through the available options, which may include local repair services or manufacturer support.
